Rotherham's nature on new app

The Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust’s Wild Sheffield app is free to download on iPhones, Android phones and tablets.

The app is designed to encourage people to explore the Trust’s sites and offers information for walks, including information on plants, animals and points of interest.

Project manager Chris Doar said: “It’s a great way of using technology to find out what’s on the nature reserves and show kids the simple pleasures of exploring the outdoors.” 

The Wild Sheffield app has been funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Viridor Credits Environmental Company.
