Rotherham Show's off - so Diversity Festival goes online

ROTHERHAM Show may be cancelled but that hasn’t deterred the organisers of one of its most vibrant attractions from presenting a packed programme.

Rotherham Diversity Festival is putting on a full day’s programme of music, dance, poetry, puppets, and crafts through its social media channels.

Young Minds, RAD (Rotherham African Drums), Life Act, Music and Love Band, Ace in Hand, Madam Zucchini, Jonno Jackson, Amina Atiq, the Yemeni Dancers and the Sangeet Choir will all be performing, and there will be tai chi, basket making and book-binding workshops.

The fun starts at 10am on Saturday at https://www.diversity-festival.com/.

Organisers are urging anyone who has been creative during the lockdown to send photos of what they have produced.

The best entry could win a family ticket to the Gulliver’s Valley theme park.

Send your photos via https://www.facebook.com/RothDivFest or post them to the Unity Centre, St Leonard's Road, Rotherham or ROAR, Westgate Chambers, Rotherham, S6O 1AN, or SENSE on Coleridge Road, Rotherham.
