Rotherham Show proves spectacular again - despite the drizzle

THOUSANDS of people flocked to the Rotherham Show and enjoyed the huge variety of fun and entertainment on offer.

Crafters were able to indulge in knitting and get involved in making their own poppy to help commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War.

Top tips were also dished out from the National Allotment Society for green-fingered punters.

Visitors were also wowed by free-running experts, dancers, comedy acts and more over the weekend, which brought with it sunshine and showers.

A celebration of Rotherham’s diverse communities, including Asian, African and LGBT, was also held along with traditional competitions in the horticultural tent.
