EIGHTIES icon Tony Hadley will lead thousands of South Yorkshire children in a series of huge concerts early next year.

Young Voices 2020 will see the ex-Spandau Ballet frontman (pictured), as well as fellow performers The Shires & Ruti, joining 30,000 children from Yorkshire schools, including many from Rotherham, for shows over six nights.

They take place at the FlyDSA Arena from January 7 to 10 and January 13 and 14.

Young Voices concerts have been performing at the Arena since 1991, performing over 50 shows with a celebrity name or two bringing things together.

This winter’s series will feature 30,000 children from 716 schools from across the Yorkshire region performing in front of audiences including friends and family.

Tickets are now on general sale priced £26.03 (including fees) at www.flydsaarena.co.uk or on 0114 256 55 66.
