The event held at Magna over four days last week brought to life three of the author’s best known stories — The Twits, George’s Amazing Medicine and Danny, The Champion of the World — aided by an impressive orchestra of professional musicians brought together especially for the event.

It was organised by Martyn Howells, strategic leader of Rotherham Music, who worked closely with Andy Smith who composed a phenomenal music score, while the Advertiser’s very own Charlie Graves acted as narrator.
