Operatic Society goes way out west

DINNINGTON Operatic Society are putting the final touches to a forthcoming production of musical Oklahoma!

The Rodgers and Hammerstein creation tells the story of a love triangle between Curly, Laurey and sinister farmhand Jud.

It is set against a myriad of hilarious relationships in the US state of Oklahoma.

Musical numbers include the well-known Oh What a Beautiful Morning, Oklahoma and The Farmer and the Cowman.

Performances will be held at the Lyric Theatre, Dinnington at 7.15pm from October 11 to 16, with a matinee at 2.15pm on the final day.
