New show celebrates sights and sounds of Steel City
STORIES of solidarity and survival in South Yorkshire blend with classic tracks from some of the region’s best loved artists in a new theatre show premiering next week.
The Band Plays On, released by the Crucible in Sheffield on Monday, is a new show from writer Chris Bush, of Standing at the Sky’s Edge.
It melds extraordinary tales and live music, including songs from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Def Leppard, Moloko, Jarvis Cocker and Slow Club.
