New internet cafe planned for Rotherham town centre

The community cafe would would be at the old Phoenix premises on High Street.

Applicant Sue Wynne said the cafe would serve food and provide computer access during the day.

She added: “We propose to open some evenings as a social space for events and we propose to serve alcohol of an evening.”

The plans include one-to-one meeting rooms and a children’s area with pushchair parking, soft play and doodle wall paper.
