Maltby club night to raise funds towards miners’ memorial this Friday

A CHARITY shop has added £250 towards efforts to erect a miners’ memorial.

New 2 You, on the High Street, presented their latest cheque to the fundraising group in Maltby.

Meanwhile, a fun night at the Catholics club will raise further funds for the cause tomorrow (Friday, November 30).

Doors open at 7.30pm, the event starts at 8pm and the event will include live entertainment, bingo, a quiz, Super 5 and a raffle.

Tickets are £3 via the Maltby Miners Memorial group on Facebook or from chairman Bill Spilsbury on 01709 817390. They will also be on sale at Tesco in Maltby from 9am on Monday (26).
