Lots to enjoy at Silverwood auction night
Leslie Leng and his family are offering a host of lots at their Big Auction at Silverwood Miners’ Welfare at 7pm on Saturday.
They are running the event — including live music by award-winning band At The Arcade — to thank Rotherham Hospice for the care given to mum Nungki Leng (pictured), who died there last summer.

Her son Simon Jeffery said: “The care they gave our mum in her final days as well as the aftercare the provided for us was incredible.
“To give back, we have organised the The Big Auction.
“Over the last few months, I have reached out to over 300 companies both locally and afar and received a huge amount of donations that will be auctioned off or raffled.
“The prizes range from a full day of paintball for 12 to free entrance to wildlife parks and chocolate factories.”

“Rotherham Hospice were absolutely amazing and we are doing our bit to help them continue with their good works providing light amidst the encircling gloom.”
