Lost Chord on hunt for golfers

THERE IS still time to tee off, take to the greens and support South Yorkshire dementia charity Lost Chord.

The second annual Lost Chord Golf Day will be held at Rotherham Golf Club on May 20—and some places are still available.

“This is a great way for the business community to get involved in the work that Lost Chord is doing for people struggling with dementia throughout our region,” said fund-raising manager Tina Harrison.

“Our musicians provide regular interactive musical sessions for people in 24 homes in Rotherham, not to mention all our other events throughout the rest of South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North Derbyshire,  and we also have many homes on our waiting list.

“Dementia is something that will touch the lives of almost all of us and the service Lost Chord provides really does make a difference to the lives of the people we meet.

“We’d be delighted to hear from any company who wants to put a team forward but if there are individual golfers who would like to take part too, we will create teams specially for them.”

Entry to the day costs £220 per team of four—or £55 per individual player—with a choice of tee off times, a hot bacon roll and coffee to begin the day and a two-course dinner.
