LIGHTNING Seeds, Space, and Justin Moorhouse are the first acts to be announced for a summer festival — taking place in actual real-life this year!
The family-friendly Wentworth Festival will take over the grounds of Wentworth Woodhouse on Saturday, September 18.
Headlining the main stage are million-selling British bands Lightning Seeds, The Feeling and Space, whilst over on the comedy stage the 20th anniversary of Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights is celebrated by welcoming the hit show’s stars Justin Moorhouse (pictured, below) and Archie Kelly.
Plus the Phoenix Club’s resident band Les Alanos will be hosting an amazing 80s and 90s afternoon disco with live performances from chart stars Kenny Thomas, Hazell Dean, Dario G and Rozalla.
Bang Bang Romeo, Soul Sensation and Complete Madness will also entertain crowds.
With over 40 acts from the world of music and comedy performing across a variety of stages across one day, Wentworth Festival has something for everyone.
There will be funfair rides, food, a huge 100ft main bar and plenty of space to relax in the sunshine.
Tickets cost £50.65 for adults and £12 for children. They are available to buy at https://www.sheffieldcityhall.co.uk/event/wentworth-music-festival or from Wentworth Village Shop.
Doors open at 11am and the event starts at noon.
