A FOLK duo who have toured with the likes of Deacon Blue, James Blunt and Smokey Robinson are heading to Rotherham for an acoustic gig at an intimate little venue.
Feted by the music press for their close harmonies and their sweet West Coast sound, Paul Zervas and Kath Pepper — who perform as Zervas and Pepper — have been likened by many to James Taylor and Joni Mitchell.
They are appearing at Letwell Village Hall on Saturday, June 2.
The duo draw much of their musical inspiration from all conquering 80s band Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, and have developed a close relationship with the great David Crosby in recent years.
The world-famous singer-songwriter went so far as to introduce his son James Raymond to the pair when they flew to LA to record their latest album Wildwind.
Raymond ultimately went into the studio and co-produced tracks written while Paul and Kath were staying at a remote cabin in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
Tickets are available, priced £12, from Martyn Sharpe and Andy Swift on 01909 731626 or 01909 540694 or by email to email@example.com.
