Jazz greats will assemble at Riverside House
The event on Sunday, July 1 has been organised by Rotherham Music — the Rotherham Borough Council service offering tuition in schools.
It will feature international jazz experts playing together in one all-star quintet.

Hide AdVocalist Tina May will front the ensemble. The Gloucester-born songstress has released over 20 albums — in both English and French — and toured worldwide since 1992.
Nikki Isles, a senior lecturer in music with over 15 albums and a BT Jazz Festival Award to her name, will accompany on piano.
Saxophonist Karen Sharp formerly played with Humphrey Lyttelton’s eight-piece jazz band and has four solo albums under her belt.
Dave Green, bassist, has also performed with Humphrey Lyttleton as well as backing a host of other jazz greats, appearing on nearly 30 albums.

Hide AdAnd drummer Steve Brown studied music in New York, becoming a finalist in the European Jazz Competition with the Jim Hunt Quartet, before touring in the Far East, Spain and France.

A full bar service will be available throughout the performance, which will be supported by The National Youth Jazz Collective.
