Ice top the bill at school's summer event

The event at the school on Rookery Road will run from noon to 3pm and everyone is welcome to join in the fun-packed afternoon.

Ice, a dance troupe of 13 to 18 year-olds formed at Rotherham's Nikki Lynam School of Performing Arts two years ago, will also judge the fancy dress competition at 12.45pm.

Other attractions will include a bouncy castle, tombola, face painting, cake stall, hook-a-duck and other games, lucky dip, class colour stalls, book stall and raffle.

There will be a police vehicle display and games organised by Swinton Spartans Junior Football Club.

Refreshments and a BBQ will be available.
