Hometown gig for blues and soul singer Lauren Housley

FOLK, soul and blues singer Lauren Housley makes a hometown appearance next weekend.

The artist’s Americana-tinged music will entertain an audience at Letwell Village Hall at 8pm next Saturday, February 22.

Born and raised in Rotherham, Lauren developed a passion for music around the age of 14 drawing on her dad's love of Elvis and listening to The King.

Since arriving on the scene in 2016, Lauren has released two albums in collaboration with her long time song writing partner Thomas Dibb, and the pair launched their own studio in Rotherham last year.

Lauren and her band have toured with Van Morrison and Jack Savoretti, and also played on the same bill as Tom Jones.
