Grit expectations — but you have to wait for the snow!
SPRING’S arrival may mean you have to wait a while to see them on the streets — but Rotherham’s gritters have had their names added.

The other names — chosen by Advertiser readers — were The Earl Gritzwilliam, David Plowie, Grit Expectations, Spready Mercury, Gritt Ekland, Gritter Garbo, Brian the Dino-thaw and Gritty Gritty Bang Bang.
All ten vehicles now proudly sport their new names on the front and side of the cabins. Look out for them next time it snows!
