Giant charity picnic on Friday in Clifton Park makes Sense

The Rotherham branch of Sense will hold the event near the band stand in Clifton Park on Friday, August 30, from 11am to 4pm. 

It has been set up to celebrate the charity’s local services and a way of engaging with the public by organising a variety of sporting activities, art, music and a picnic. 

Service users, carers, family and friends are all welcome to attend, but people are asked to bring their own packed lunch on the day.

In preparation for the event, any donations of picnic blankets would also be kindly received. 

Organisers said they anticipate the event to be an exciting day and everyone is welcome to join them.
