Joining them on stage in the show for Rotherham Hospice will be “four ordinary men”, said dance teacher Michelle Tudor, who will don suspenders and stockings to perform Sweet Transvestite from the Rocky Horror Show.

“The men are relatives from some of the girls from the class who volunteered,” said Michelle.

“They have been practising since September — they are aged from 17 to over 40.

“They are quite nervous.”

Hits from Chicago and Moulin Rouge will also be performed at the Musical Vs Burlesque night, which is at 6.30pm and is suitable for over-16s.

Last year’s show raised £1,500 for Prostate Cancer.

Tickets start from £5, and are available from Michelle on 07595 993439.
