Free historical walk around Wath Wood on Saturday
A WALK around Wath Wood will highlight some of the area’s historical and archaeological features.
Cllr Ken Wyatt will host the free event, showing how the woodland was used in agriculture, public health, as a source of raw materials and even during warfare.
It takes place on Saturday, October 13, from 10.30am to noon. Meet on Gipsy Green Lane, S63 6HR and wear sensible footwear.
