The first ever trail race at Misson on April 15 will raise money to help the Frack Free Misson group fight potential underground gas extraction plans in and around the village. The Idle Dash is a seven kilometre run held entirely off road. Competitors must be at least 15 years of age on the day. It is being held under UK Athletics rules. It starts from race HQ at Misson Community Centre, Vicar Lane 11am. Prizes will be awarded in senior and veteran age categories. Cost to enter £7 or £5 for England Athletics runners.
