Fitness fans aim for world record

FITNESS fans are being invited to a giant morning workout tomorrow on Saturday which is aiming to set a new world record.

The event is being held at 9am at hundreds of worldwide locations in a bid to win the title of most participants in a high intensity interval training session in 24 hours across multiple venues.

Herbalife wellness coach and personal trainer, Julia Cammoile (36) from Wath, is leading the event.

The workout will start in Los Angeles and continue around the world at 9am UK time.

Julia will hold her session at Rotherham Football Centre on Eastwood Trading Estate from 9am to 10am.

Julia, who runs fit camps in Wath, Swinton and Rawmarsh, said: “It’s free to take part, and we all do the same work out.

“We want to get as many people there as possible because it’s a big venue.”

The workout is split into seven sections focusing on different parts of the body and will have 30 seconds of high intensity exercise and then low intensity.

“It will give your body a harder workout than a normal exercise class,” said Julia.

“Anybody can attend, they can keep it a low level or they can go high.

“It’s a one-off event and a chance to come and see what our fit camps are about — you’ll enjoy it and it’s a workout that will go down in history.”
