AN ART exhibition being held in a Wath church this weekend has attracted dozens of exhibitors.

Art in the Aisles will take place at Wath All Saint’s Parish Church today (Friday 14) and tomorrow between 10am and 4pm.

It will mark Heritage Open Days — an annual celebration of history, art and culture observed around the UK.

Artists of all ages and many media will exhibit, with organisers taking no commission on works sold.

Exhibitors also have the chance to win a cash prize, decided by a public vote.

Profits from the event will go to the church and to Wath Hall Limited, a charity aiming to restore Wath Hall to public use.

Entry to the pop-up art gallery is free and refreshments will be available.
