Family activities on offer at Fun Palaces this weekend

FREE family activities are on offer at libraries in Rotherham this weekend.

You can learn to tie knots with The Knot Man at Riverside Library on Saturday, meet the members of Knit and Natter, Mini Makers and Community Choir and learn more about book folding and how to play a ukulele.

The latest Fun Palace event runs from 10am to 3pm.

Between 10am and 1pm, Wath Library will be hosting a variety of groups and activities including family history, paper ornament crafts, music, knitting, crochet, stamp collecting, Korean language classes and bell ringing.

And on Sunday, Maltby Library is the place to have a go at cupcake decorating, knitting and art.

Fun Palace is a free national campaign aimed at connecting communities through arts, science, craft, tech, heritage, sports and digital activities
