Rotherham Theatres manager, Mark Scott, said: "Television has heightened the popularity of antiques attracting millions of viewers each week and it's ready to make the jump into the live arena.

"The concept of bringing an Antiques Roadshow style show is a brilliant one and works amazingly well on stage. It's the kind of thing that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats, and, with a good few humorous anecdotes, chuckling in the aisles too.

“Antiques Antics continues the tradition of the Civic Theatre bringing popular, but left-field entertainment to Rotherham. We're offering the audience something a bit different that will give them a guaranteed great night out that's excellent value for money.

Eric Knowles will be at the Rotherham Civic Theatre on Sunday January 29. Valuations begin at 1.00pm, The show starts 2.30pm
