Eight more acts reach Yorkshire's Got Talent final: VIDEO
And by the end of the evening at the Best Western Consort Hotel, eight acts had been selected to through to next week’s final.
They will join the nine acts picked at last week’s heat vying to win a five-song recording session courtesy of The Music Factory, plus a £150 cash prize.

Hide AdThe runner-up will get to record one song at The Music Factory and £100, while the third-placed act will also get to record a song and will win £50.
All three winners will be invited to represent the Advertiser at public events.
Tickets are now on sale for the final, which will be held at The Best Western Consort Hotel, Brampton Road, Thurcroft, on Sunday November 27.
They cost £7, which includes entertainment by last year’s finalists, as well as established performer Adam Lacey and performances from the Gillian Banks Theatre School.

Hide AdDoors open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Food and a bar will be available.
A DVD of the final costing £10 will be available to order on the night. Personal video recording is not permitted.

Dolls on a Box A trio of girls from Darfield Foulstone School started the show with a modern ballet performance. Andrew Barker commented: “What a fantastic start to the evening. It was well choreographed and you had great facial expressions.”

Abbie Eades Abbie performed Cher’s version of the Shakespeare’s Sister classic, Stay. Gillian Banks commented: “You have a natural feel for music and you really understood the lyrics.”

Lydia Hinchcliffe Lydia performed Ellie Goulding’s Your Song. Alexandra Hans said: “You have a lovely tone to your voice, but you choose a difficult song to sing and the nerves came through and left you exposed.”

Megan and Aimee The duo performed Adele’s Someone Like You. The judges agreed both girls had unique voices.They said they would have loved to have heard them separately, but the duo's harmonies had worked well.

Courtney Morris Courtney also performed Someone Like You by Adele. Gillian Banks commented: “Despite nerves getting the better of you, you carried on to the end so well done. “You have a powerful voice you just need to work on your confidence.”

Hollie Webb Hollie covered Michael Buble’s hit Feeling Good. Alexandra Hans said: “That was an amazing performance. You have a mature, quirky voice and you’ve got your own style.”

James Ansell James performed Hey Soul Sister by Train. Andrew Barker said: “You have an amazing voice, you kept control and put your own twist on the lyrics.”

Kelis Holdsworth Kelis performed Bound By You by Christina Aguilera. Alexandra Hans said: “I couldn't take my eyes off you. You have an amazing voice for 11 years old, but you need to watch those high notes. With more training you will be even better.”

Joe Shaw Joe Performed Valerie by The Zutons. Andrew Barker said: “You are a true performer but the song wasn't right for you. You have the confidence but you need to choose the right song to suit you.”

Maxime and David The father-and-daughter duo performed Demi Levato’s Skyscraper. Gillian Banks said: “It’s lovely to hear live music, you are a talented young girl but you need to be more confident.”

Narnarama Narnarama performed a cover of Venus by Bananarama. Alexandra Hans said: “You clearly loved being on stage and it was a lot of fun. A well-rehearsed performance.”

Tessa Saville Tessa performed Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad by Meatloaf. Gillian Banks said: “Male notes are low and hard to reach but it was a good confident performance.”

Courtney Taylor Courtney was the second act to cover Skyscraper by Demi Lovato. Alexandra Hans said: “You have a natural voice so try not to copy the original—there is room to improve with your breathing but you can the strong voice in you.”

Aidan Bartholomew Aidan performed Someone Like You by Adele. Andrew Barker said: “I think this is just the tip of the iceberg for you and I hope to see you in the final. It was an emotional performance.”

Maria Bellfield Maria performed Candi Staton’s Nights On Broadway The judges agreed Maria performed well and oozed confidence, but said the act was slightly dated and shouty in parts.

Freya and Luke Freya and Luke performed Christina Perri’s Jar Of Hearts Andrew Barker said: “Freya you have the purest voice I have heard in the competition so far, but I'm disappointed that Luke didn't sing more because you have an amazing voice. Don’t hide behind the guitar, even though you played it so well.”

Bethany Parton Bethany performed Cheryl Cole’s The Flood The judges agreed Bethany had the best presentation of the night, and looked “stunning”. Judge Alexandra Hans added: “You don't have your technique quite right but stick with it, you have potential.”

Elliott Lee Elliott Lee performed The Man Who Can’t Be Moved by The Script Gillian Banks said: “You are a natural showman and you have the voice, but you need to allow time for your voice to mature. You included the audience and delivered well.”
