Easter opening times for council services

HERE are the opening times for museums, libraries and other council services over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

Museums:

Clifton Park Museum (pictured) and café are closed on Good Friday but will be open on Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. 

The museum is open at its usual times on Saturday (9.30am to 5pm), Sunday (1.30pm to 4.30pm) and Monday (10am to 5pm). 

The café will be open until 4.30pm on Monday, April 2.

The childhood memories toy exhibition is currently on display. 

During the Easter weekend, the archives and local studies search room at Clifton Park Museum will be open on Easter Saturday only.  

Boston Castle reopens on Sunday, April 1 (11am to 3pm). It will be open every Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday (11am to 3pm) until the end of September.

 

Libraries and customer service centres:

All libraries and customer service centres will be closed from Friday, March 30, to Monday, April, 2. They and will reopen at their usual times from Tuesday, April 3.

The online Llibrary is always open to loan eBooks, eMagazines and eAudioBooks.

Waste and Recycling:

Bins will be collected as normal if your collection falls on Good Friday or Bank Holiday Monday.

The council has advised householders to “recycle responsibly”.

Household waste recycling centres and recycling points are open during the Bank Holiday but Lidget Lane Household Waste Recycling Centre in Bramley will be closed on Good Friday.
