BRINSWORTH PARISH COUNCIL: If anyone has suggestions on what activities should be offered at the centre, contact the parish office 01709 364199, [email protected]. Residents are reminded that the enclosed play area at the bottom of Brinsworth playing fields is for children aged 10 and under. Other facilities and equipment for older youngsters are available at the top of the playing fields, Millennium Park and Howarth Park. Dogs, ball games and bikes are also not allowed in the play area. Millennium Skate Park has now reopened following essential maintenance work and the replacement of boards. Residents are asked to say if they would like outdoor exercise equipment provided, contact the parish office 01709364199.

Tuesdays - zumba 6-7pm; yoga 7.30-8.30pm. Wednesdays - yoga 10.30-11.30am; Slimming World 3pm/5pm/7pm; Dance Factory 5.15-8pm. Thursdays - WW 9.30am/6.30pm; Young at Heart 11am-noon; adult tap 7.15-8.15pm. Fridays - police drop-in surgery 10-11am; Good Companions 10am-noon. Saturdays - Born to Perform 9am-noon. Action for hearing sessions for replacement batteries and tubes on last Tuesday of month. Northern Soul evening - every 3rd Friday in month 7pm-midnight. BOWLING GREEN: Brinsworth Bowling Club is looking for new players.

FOOTBALL: The parish council football pitches are available to hire and have availability Saturday/Sunday afternoons.

CHARITY: Brinsworth playing field car park is the Bluebell Wood charity bag collection point. People can drop off donations on the last Monday of month.

ANDY’S MAN CLUB: Aims to provide a friendly opportunity for men to have a chat and to discuss their feelings. Meets Mondays 7pm at Brinsworth’s The Centre.
