Discover tales of the Land Girls at free event tomorrow

STORIES of Land Girls and Lumberjills will be uncovered in a free educational class tomorrow.

The WEA (Workers’ Educational Association) — the nation's largest volunteer-run adult education provider — is bringing a free new history course to South Yorkshire.

The project will explore the lives and work of the Women’s Land Army and Timber Corps, female led groups who supported Britain from home during the Second World War.
