Details revealed of annual Wath Gala

A POPULAR annual summer celebration makes it return to Wath next month.

Wath Town Gala will be held between 1pm and 4pm on Saturday, July 21.

Co-organiser Lynne Cadman said: “There will be lots of stalls in the Montgomery Hall car park offering a range of crafts and other lovely goods, as well as children’s rides.

“This year there will be a food corner offering different speciality coffees, jacket potatoes, prosecco bar, gin bar and ‘tornado potatoes!”

Other attractions include a dog show on the Town Green, together with old-fashioned kids’ games such as a three-legged race, egg and spoon race, welly wanging and the famous Wath Tug of War.
