Dearne Valley Ramblers August 25

10am an easy/moderate 7.5 miles circular walk through heritage woodlands and the former estates of the Earl of Effingham and the Marquess of Rockingham including a sculpture nature trail, Caesar’s Camp, a historical folly and panoramic views over Sheffield, meet at the car park opposite Blackburn Primary School, Baring Road, off New Droppingwell Road. August 28 - 6.30pm an easy 4.5 miles circular ramble around the Doomsday Book-listed Manor of Wickersley, taking in King’s Pond and Winthrop Park before returning via the wooden sculptures of Wickersley Woods, meet at Slacks Lane (by the cemetery) in Bramley.
