Dearne Community Cinema is ‘Pitch Perfect’

FANS of the big screen are sure to be singing the praises of a community cinema project aiming to hit the right note once again with another film showing.

The Dearne Community Cinema returns to The Dearne Playhouse, Washington Road, Goldthorpe, for the screening of Pitch Perfect 1 and 2 on September 27.

A musical double-bill, the latest cinema event will open its doors at 3pm ahead of the 3.30pm show times.

    Tickets for the show are priced at £3 for adults, £2.50 for concessions or £10 for a family of four and can be ordered by phone 01709 894128 or bought on the door.

    This week cinema-goers were treated to a screening of Big Hero 6 thanks to the Dearne Community Cinema, which was re-launched last month.

    The project is a joint partnership between Dearne Playhouse and Goldthorpe and Bolton on Dearne Big Local, Big Local Thurnscoe, Chevin Housing and Goldthorpe Development Group.
