CLASSIC films including The Goonies and Hook will be screened in a pop-up cinema inside a cave.
The Village Screen is returning to the Devil’s Arse in Castleton for two back-to-back weekends of film screeings in June.
The Goonies, Hook, The Descent and Raiders of the Lost Ark will be shown in The Peak Cavern, which is said to be one of the UK’s best show caves.
The Peak Cavern will be transformed into a unique cinema experience showing some of the greatest adventure films of all time.
The Goonies will be shown on June 15 at 9pm (doors 7pm) and Hook on June 16 at 8.30pm (doors 6.30pm).
The Descent will be screened on June 22 at 9pm (doors 7pm) and Raiders of the Lost Ark will be shown on June 23 at 9pm (doors 7pm).
Alongside the screenings, The Village Screen will be turning an area of the car park at the Peak Cavern into a street food haven, with live music and a bar before each screening. There will also be a fully-stocked bar inside the cave.
Tickets, which go on sale on Friday, May 4 at 9am, are £15 for adults and £13 for children, students and seniors (60+).
