Charity walk through Wentworth Woodhouse to raise cash for preservation

A SPONSORED walk through the grounds of Wentworth Woodhouse aims to raise cash for the historic building’s preservation.

The fundraiser on Sunday, September 30, will cover ten miles and begin at the Stable Block at 10am.

The last walkers should arrive back at Wentworth Woodhouse at around 3pm.

The aim is for each walker to raise a minimum of £20 in sponsorship.

Money raised will go to Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust and there will be a registration fee of £10 for each walker.

The person who raises the most in sponsorship will be awarded a guided tour for two of the house.
