Casting call tomorrow for Wickersley’s Superstar show

Jesus Christ Superstar is coming to the Rotherham Civic stage in the capable hands of Wickersley Musical Theatre Company - now it needs a cast and crew.

IF YOU’VE ever dreamed of the chance to perform in a hit Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, your prayers may have been answered.

Jesus Christ Superstar is coming to the Rotherham Civic stage in the capable hands of Wickersley Musical Theatre Company.

The company is holding a launch event at 7.30pm tomorrow (Tuesday, June 18) at Wickersley Library and Community Centre to kickstart the casting process for the show, which will be staged from February 25 to 29 next year.

Alison Fenwick from WMTC said: “We are looking for performers aged 16 years and over whether your talent be in singing or dancing.

“Auditions for parts will take place in July and rehearsals will begin in September.”
