Brilliant bakers sought for a contest fit for a Queen

The winners of the Right Royal Winthrop Bake-Off will be announced at Winthrop Gardens in Wickersley on Saturday, June 4.

The contest is free to enter and entries are welcomed from under-14s and over-14s alike in the following categories: cakes and buns; scones and biscuits; preserves (which can include jams, chutneys, marmalades and pickles) and “A Bake fit for a Queen”.

Entry forms can be downloaded at www.winthropgardens.org.uk or picked up from Winthrop and need to be returned by next Friday, May 27.

Entries can be delivered to Winthrop  between 3pm and 6pm on Friday, June 3, or between 8am and 9am on Saturday, June 4.
