Brass band makes comeback with open-air Proms concert

A BRASS band will bring the spirit of the Proms to South Yorkshire with an open-air concert next weekend.

Dinnington Colliery Band is putting on a Midsummer Prom concert at The Grange, in Clifton, near Conisbrough, from 7pm next Saturday, August 14.

Music lovers are invited to bring a picnic blanket and food and drinks to enjoy the show under the summer sky.

Tickets are priced at £6.50 in advance (£7 on the night) for adults and £3 in advance (£3.50 on the night) for under-18s.

All proceeds will go to Clifton Community Association and Dinnington Colliery.
