Band's live Leadmill show to help save legendary club

ALVAREZ Kings will be back on stage this weekend – but there will still be no audience in front of them.

The Rotherham four-piece, who released new single Never Let Go last month, are performing a virtual show live from the Leadmill in Sheffield on Saturday, September 19.

It is part of the Save our Venues campaign, which aims to help pubs, clubs and other live music venues from going out of business as crowds are kept away by restrictions imposed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Kings said: “The Leadmill has played a crucial role in the development of us as a band and we will do what we can to return the favour.

“We will have lots of treats in store and playing brand new songs from our forthcoming album.”

The show will be screened by streaming site Veep and starts at 9pm.
