Artist Louise Worrall's brush with fame on Sky Arts show

TV viewers can see a Rotherham artist battle it out next week in a hunt for the next top talent.

Louise Worrall (pictured), of Cross Street, Maltby, was picked as one of 50 “wildcard” entrants fighting for a single spot in the semi-final of the Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year contest.

The overall winner of the competition will land a £10,000 commission to create a landscape artwork of Venice for the prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects.

People tuning in to Sky Arts at 8pm next Tuesday can see how Louise gets on committing to canvas the spectacular Gateshead Millennium bridge over the River Tyne.
