Approval given for Dinnington Town floodlit 3G pitch plans

DINNINGTON Town’s ambitious plans to redevelop Phoenix Park have been approved by Rotherham Council.

Proposals include a full-size floodlit 3G pitch to replace the natural turf at Phoenix Park, plus a 200-plus seater stand and clubhouse.

The plans said the development would become a focal point for Dinnington, helping to ensure the future viability of both the club and resource centre on Laughton Road.

The club is bidding for funding, while also running a campaign for donations at gofundme.com/f/dinnington-town-fc-community-3g-pitch-fund.
