Amazing turnout for fundraiisng event in memory of Liam
MUM Paula Allen said she was amazed by the turnout for a fundraising event in memory of her son.
Paula organised the fun day and table top sale at St James’ Church in Eastwood as part of efforts to fund a memorial garden for her late son Liam, who died aged seven in 2019, and other pupils at Badsley Primary School.
The East Dene mum was able to donate £650 from her fundraising proceeds to the school’s coffers to help fund the project.
She said: “I’m really pleased with the total and so proud of everyone who helped and took part in the day.”
