Alight here for art: waiting room exhibition showcases Mexborough "ramblers'" talent

A POP-UP exhibition is calling at Mexborough station this summer.

Until September, the waiting room is the place to enjoy creative writing inspired by special “rambles” around the town led by poet Ian McMillan.

Over a two-year period, the We Create: Mexborough project helped socially-isolated adults and those experiences mental health issues to make art on allotments in the town and produce podcasts, radio plays and soundscapes via Zoom and in person at Mexborough Resource Centre.
