“Ale” the return of Rotherham’s beer festival

BEER lovers will commune from afar over a few choice ales next week as Rotherham’s biggest annual brewing celebration returns.

The Rotherham Real Ale and Music Festival has had to go online this year due to Covid-19 restrictions.

But that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the flavour of the festival.

Little Mesters Brewing will host a live tasting session next Friday, with eight beers and expert insight included, and all profits going to Rotherham Cancer Care Centre.

The tasting package, priced at £25 and including local delivery, will run alongside an online music event the following evening, featuring live music.

A special festival ale is being brewed by Parkgate-based Chantry Brewery, with profits going to the cancer charity.

The brew has now been bottled and delivered and is available to order online.

Visit https://www.magnarealale.uk/real-ale-tasting/ by tomorrow (12) to book your tasting slot and https://www.magnarealale.uk/ for more information on the festival.
