A chance to search for the stars
AN astronomy group is holding two meetings this week (December 2 and 4) which will reveal the wonders of the universe.
On Tuesday (Dec 2), members of Mexborough and Swinton Astronomical Society will be travelling to the Hicks Building at the University of Sheffield to hear Professor Lee Thompson talk about Using Cosmic Rays to help Climate Change, starting at 5pm.
On Thursday (Dec 4), Gary Gawthrope will present An Astronomer’s Guide to Chile at the meeting room of Swinton Working Men’s Club on Station Street, starting at 7.45pm.
