90s stars Jesus Jones in South Yorkshire comeback

EARLY 90s stars Jesus Jones return to South Yorkshire next week.

The original line-up of the band are playing their hit album doubt in full for the first time ever on their current tour, which comes to Sheffield Academy on September 9.

The band’s second album, released in 1991, featured the hits Right Here, Right Now, International Bright Young Thing and Who? Where? Why?

Jesus Jones were awarded an MTV award for Best New Artist, as well as being nominated for a Grammy.

Frontman Mike Edwards said: “It makes us somewhat unique, among our contemporaries, to be exactly the same five guys it was all those years ago.

“We’ve grown up together, and it’s a privilege to all be on the same stage, playing the songs which kick-started our entire career.”
