WITH just over a month to go until the start of the rugby season, Rotherham Titans are making one final push to get into peak shape.
Wrestling with giant tyres and launching into tackle bags, there was no let-up as the first team squad were put through their paces under rainy skies on Herringthorpe Fields.
Overseen by new joint coach Anthony Posa, who is working in tandem with Matt Smith this season, the group included the club's large contingent of new players.

“Training is going very well,” said director of rugby Martin Jenkinson.
“The rain we've had lately is welcome, the soft ground helps compared to what it was like last summer when it was absolutely parched.”
Titans kick off their National One campaign away to Rosslyn Park on September 7, aiming to improve on last season's sixth-placed finish.
