Two women fined after theft at Dalton Asda

POLICE have fined two women after reports of a theft at Asda in Dalton. 

Officers were called to the supermarket on Aldwarke Lane shortly before 6.30pm last night (Tuesday), following reports of theft.  

"The two women from Barnsley, , aged 28 and 31, were each issued with a £90 fixed penalty notice," a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said.
