ROTHERHAM United centre-half Clark Robertson could be made an offer by Aberdeen to take him back to Scotland.
The Millers defender is out of contract this summer and his old club are keen to see him return to Pittodrie.
Rotherham put new a deal on the table for Robertson earlier this year but the 27-year-old said he wanted to wait until the Championship campaign was over before making a decision.
The player has proved his quality in South Yorkshire since moving from Blackpool in 2018 However, he has suffered terrible luck with injuries and has featured in Paul Warne's side only 16 times this season.
He is sidelined by an achilles complaint and will miss third-bottom Rotherham's last-day survival showdown at Cardiff City tomorrow.
Robertson spent six years with the Dons before joining Blackpool.
The Advertiser understands Aberdeen's new boss, Stephen Glass, is planning to revamp his Scottish Premiership squad and wants the Scot to be part of his overhaul.
Despite his injury problems, Robertson also has clubs in England keen on his services.
