A MISSING dementia sufferer was found "cold" but "uninjured" next to a canal bank by a police dog and his handler.
The "high-risk" missing man, who is in his 60s, had been missing since early yesterday morning and was found in South Anston last night by police dog Dexter and his handler, PC McNabola.
"The male was cold and appeared to have been there sometime, but was thankfully uninjured," said an SYP Operational support officer.
"He was handed over to local district officers who, after a check up from the ambulance service, safely returned him home."
