FUNDS have been pouring in to help an elderly pensioner who was robbed and injured at a bus stop.
The appeal was launched by kind-hearted Keeley Smith after she heard how the 89-year-old woman was targeted at the bus stop on Roughwood Road, Rockingham, at 1.30pm on Tuesday (November 17) by a thief who stole her handbag, which contained £300.
Keeley (34, pictured), from Kimberworth, started a Go Fund Me page to help support the elderly lady - and has so far raised £1,500.

"I just wanted to do something to help," she said.
"Seeing how much money has been raised is fantastic - I am completely overwhelmed.
"It just shows how important community spirit really is and this will make such a difference to the lady's life."
A police spokeswoman said the elderly lady was said to have hit her head and broken her arm in the incident and was now recovering at home.
A 31-year-old woman has since been arrested and charged with robbery.
Kirsty Moxon, of Whitegate Walk, will appear at Sheffield Magistrates' Court on December 17.
She has been remanded in custody.
